Understanding the Dashboard

Modified on Wed, 12 Mar at 11:56 AM

The Dashboard is a visual business intelligence tool within Skynamo that provides insights into user activities and customer interactions.

This visual representation of data can be used to monitor operations, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyse trends, assisting your business in making decisions. At a quick glance, tiles and graphs provide immediate understanding of key metrics with further analysis available through detailed reports.

Dashboard Layout

The Dashboard provides two distinct but complementary views of your operations from both internal (user/representative) and external (customer) perspectives. These views can be selected in the left-hand navigation and are as follows:

  • User View: About my customers - This focuses on understanding how your team operates, their productivity and performance, customer engagement, and their impact on the business.
  • Customer View: About my customers - This provides insights into customer engagement, visit frequency, trend identification and overall customer health metrics.

Each perspective has an Overview section which serves as a command centre, providing quick insights into the numbers through bold tiles on the top level, and trend analysis and key performance indicators through graphs. Visit and Activity KPI sections offer summary tiles followed by detailed reports for deeper analysis with customisable layout and column selection for focused viewing.

A third section available on the left-hand navigation is RADARThis is a add on / paid for feature providing a thorough sales history analysis as well as RFM Analysis. For further explanation on RADAR and its features see RADAR explained.

Always visible is the 'Last Updated' date and time giving you comfort that you are viewing the most up to date data. See How to reload your dashboard for a guide on refreshing your dashboard's content.

Dashboard Features

  • Data Filtering - The dashboard allows for customisable views for different user needs. In each view and its subsections, the data can be filtered by date range (predetermined period or date picker), Users and User groups. See How to use Dashboard filters for steps using these filters.

  • Detailed information – It is possible to drill down into the data from a tile to table of data and then further by customising your view and downloading the data to CSV or Excel. For instructions on getting your data into Excel see How to download reports from your Dashboard.

  • Information accessibility – This is ensured through downloadable reports for offline analysis and further data manipulation and displaying data point values on the various graphs when hovering over the data point.
